Cartoons, Illustration, Graphics, Advertising Concepts, Animations, Film Direction, Furniture Making, Architecture. It’s all the same stuff to me. Being creative is not about being constrained.

The process is one of invention, honing the idea and applying the aesthetics then ensuring that fits with the logic, the message or the usage.

Designing a house starts with an idea wrapped around the specifications.

Particularly gag cartoons and advertising concepts are very similar, they both work when you achieve one plus one equalling three. That’s words working with images to create a concept.
